How to manage ADHD symptoms at work?
« on: February 05, 2025, 06:33:02 am »
I have recently been diagnosed with ADHD and I feel that it is greatly affecting my work. I often put off tasks, find it hard to focus on one thing at a time, and lose motivation quickly. Has anyone experienced these symptoms and can suggest how to deal with it?

I know how hard it is to deal with it when you feel like you can't focus on your work. The key is to let yourself know that it's not a fault, it's a symptom. One tip that has helped me is structure in the day and creating clear plans. It's also good to monitor your condition with specialized tools, for example, I recently read an article about how ADHD symptoms affect work, there's a lot of useful advice there: https://www.voiset.io/blog/how-adhd-affects-workflow

It helped me a lot when I started time planning my day, setting aside time for specific tasks. And sports also help, even a simple walk or a few exercises to regain concentration.
