Is Lean Really Dangerous?
« on: February 23, 2025, 05:59:21 am »
I often see "lean" or "purple drank" mentioned in movies and rap videos. They say it's a mixture of cough syrup and soda, but how dangerous is it really? Many people say it's okay if you don't abuse it. Has anyone tried it? What are the real consequences?

This is a drink that is indeed popular in some circles, but it is important to remember that its ingredients contain opioids, which can cause addiction and serious side effects. It is better to study the possible consequences in advance.

Lean contains codeine, an opioid that has a sedative effect and can be addictive. The main problem is that with regular use, tolerance develops, and a person needs more and more of the substance to achieve the desired effect. This increases the risk of overdose and serious health problems, including respiratory depression and heart problems. Even a single use can cause dizziness, nausea, and loss of coordination. You can read more about the effects and risks here https://unitedrecoveryproject.com/rehab-blog/what-does-lean-do-to-your-body/ . If you want to try it, you should think about the long-term consequences.
