Suspicious Links Nightmare
« on: August 21, 2025, 10:30:14 pm »
So, yesterday I clicked on what looked like a harmless email from my “bank,” and my heart nearly stopped when it asked for my password. I’ve been freaking out ever since. Can you recommend a solid email security check I can run to make sure nothing shady slipped through? I really don’t want a repeat of that panic.

Wow, I totally get the panic—you’re not alone! I had a similar freak-out a few months ago when I got an email that looked exactly like it was from my credit card company. It asked me to “verify” some info, and my stomach just dropped. I didn’t click anything further, but I spent hours worrying if my email had been compromised. What helped me was running a quick email security check at email hack checker . It scanned my account and flagged anything suspicious, which honestly calmed me down a lot. You might want to give it a shot before opening any more emails like that—it saved me from hours of unnecessary stress.
