Looking for a good DVD ripping software...

I have over 500 "store bought" movies and I want to burn them and save them onto a harddrive to minimize the floor space. :)  Any suggestions?

buy an external h/drive, but make sure what you have in your PC, SATA or IDE. they are not expensive ;D

You might use HandBrake to convert files, but it's also a DVD ripper. Freemake Video Converter.
