problem opening torrents found by Bit Che
johnty:
I also have a problem with uTorrent. When I try to download a torrent found by Bit Che I get the message: Unable to load ''temp *****'.torrent'' The system cannot find the file specified!
chip!:
can you right click and do save torrent as... And save it to your computer, then attach it here in a post so i can look at it. Also what script/site? This is usually caused because the script is not updated..
johnty:
As suggested I have 'attached' downloaded file. Bit Che was downloaded from CNet and I have updated Script File. However, the problem stated still exists.
What I have since discovered is that if I double click on the 'attached' file in my Temp File Folder, it opens in uTorrent. Is this 'trick' normal?
chip!:
the .torrent that was attached looks fine.. at this point, i dont have enough information to make a guess at whether its a bug in Bit Che or a problem with some setting on your computer..
Which site are you trying to open a torrent from?
are you able to view the Torrent Details?
What version of Windows are you using? and what version of uTorrent?

Sam OBIWAN:
Greetings,
It's almost a month since I started to use Bit Che.
It is fast and easy to use.. Great program! However... I have a problem.
Whenever I tried to open a torrent file made or saved by Bit Che,
my uTorrent won't open the torrent file even though I associated torrents with it.
When I try to open a torrent file from BTJunkie, TorrentPortal, TorrentSpy, h33t, deadfrog,
uTorrent says "Unable to load "temp_xxxxxxx.torrent": Invalid torrent file!".
If I double click on the saved torrent file in my Temp File Folder, the same problem happens.
And if I use 'Save Torrent As..' option, the torrent file can be saved, but when I double click it,
uTorrent says "Unable to load "xxxx.torrent": Invalid torrent file!".
So I tried to open the torrent file by other clients such as Opera, FlashGet, Make Torrent...
None of them can open it... Well.. I'm in trouble, right?
So, Now, I use 'Open Source Page' option and save the torrent file by my browser.
This torrent file can be opened by uTorrent.
I've attached these torrent files for your reference.
What I've noticed is that they are very similar but different
between torrent files made by Bit Che and downloaded from these torrent sites directly.
And for BTMon, IsoHunt, although Bit Che's Downloading Window opens,
it doesn't make temp_torrent file and uTorrent says Nothing.
I'm using...
Windows XP Pro Version 2002 Service Pack 2 Japanese Version
uTorrent 1.6.1 build 490
Bit Che 1.0 build 59
I updated my Bit Che's scripts (done from the Tools menu) and
I can view the Torrent Details of BTJunkie, BTMon, IsoHunt, TorrentPortal,
But not deadfrog, h33t, TorrentSpy.
I reinstalled my uTorrent, but still same problem remains..
If you could help me, that would be great.. Thanks in advance.
regards,

P.S. I also reinstalled my Bit Che, but it still doesn't work... Hmm... Help me!
