Bit Che - 1.0 build 60

after a year or so, i've finally got the next version released!  [*celebrate!]

1.0.60 - Mar 28, 2008

added: Full support for Windows Vista and Windows 2003
added: All issues with DEP are fixed, all Bit Che components are now able to run on any Windows version (or Linux/MacOSX with Wine emulator)
added: Full Unicode support for language translation and auto detects system language
added: Check for updates now includes both new engine scripts and program updates
added: Search history is saved between sessions
added: Remembers Window size, position, Maximized or Normal, and if Script Bar is visible or hidden
added: Remembers column sizes for maximized or not maximized
added: Ability to specific a specific browser to launch URL pages  (open settings.ini, under "options", make a new line "browser_path=" and put the full path to whatever browser you want to use)
added: Command line flag "/portable" to force bit che to use the current directory as the app path
added: Many new scripts added
updated: Faster startup
updated: Reorganized menu options
updated: Improved tab bar
updated: New icons (much prettier when ALT-Tab, etc)
updated: Many overall code improvements/optimizations.
fixed: Should now have fewer false anti-virus reports
fixed: Problem handing cookies that prevented compatibility with some scripts
fixed: Tons of bugs!

But Unicode doesn't work for me Sad

(Russian). Instead of russian words it shows something like "oooeeeeiiaaaa".
(I mean - in search results).

It doesn't start and crashes in Windows 2000.

New translation is coming
Chip what i want badly is an option to show the results of the account required site first (per seeder) and then the free ones (per seeder)
(is there any program to check which new lines we have to add and translate?)
Working good on vista, i need the new icon
New version of greek language attached
The 72=Error occured with now is 71 i see..
LazyKent can you upload the error log?

Yeah, it's a recognised problem it doesn't work in Win2000 atm, Chip is getting it installed on his computer so he can test and see what's wrong with it.

good news.. I was able to figure out why Bit Che was crashing on Windows 2000. The problem was with the file packer that I use with Bit_Che.exe. After a response from the author of the file packer, I was able to pack the Bit_Che.exe in a way that no longer creates the error with Windows 2000!

Please re-download the installer:

Because I did not make any changes to the actual Bit Che application code, I am not going to change the build number.

What causes the results to be out of whack like the attached image? Are the scripts grabbing the wrong columns of information?

Also, on this new version, it is not showing any of my Coffee Cups even though the files are all still in the coffee sub-folder.

yeah.. over the next few days, ill be going over as many scripts as i can to verify they are working and fixing those that arent working Undecided
