« on: November 09, 2008, 05:51:23 am »
Heya folks
Still recovering from the party mania been having. Astrix and Infected Mushroom.(will be posting the pics up later)
Anywayz
Just noticed something with the search results of TPB.
On right clicking the search result from TPB and selecting Open Source page, it opesn the TPB Not Found (aka 404) page. But on downloading the torrent the torrent works perfectly fine.
Hope u guys look into the error.

Just hope i'm not the only one having this problem.

BTW Using FF 3.0.3 and KIS 2009 on WIndows XP SP3

Jaxx89,

make sure your using the latest updated scripts.. this 'bug' in the script was fixed in the public TPB script earlier in the week...

not sure if it still exists with the private TPB script..

edit:   looks like the 'bug' does exist in the private/members version of the TPB script.

to temporarily fix the script:
1. right click on TPB script, and select Edit Script.
2. find the line that says  "3=x(t,z,",",http://thepiratebay.org/)"
3. delete the last "/" so that the line reads  "3=x(t,z,",",http://thepiratebay.org)"
4. save the file and it should be fixed.

ill update the script pack soon so everyone has this fixed as well..

hi didn't want to make a new thread, but i'm also having problems with piratebay script.. i notice it's updated like above, but still doesn't catch for any searches..so i've been trying to modify the script with little URL/HTML knowledge, am i in the right direction by updating the links like:

audio=http://thepiratebay.org/search.php?q=%SEARCH%&what=search&page=0&audio=on

and change to

audio=http://thepiratebay.org/search/%SEARCH%/0/99/100

doesn't seem to work, as you can tell i'm lost, but trying :(

thanks for the heads up.. we'll get the script updated with the next update..

but for now,  you will NEED to change the search URL in the settings.ini    because thats where the profile information is stored..

(i know thats confusing and will be fixed in the next version of Bit Che).

but, i can confirm that making that change in settings.ini will perform corrected audio searches..

thanks d0zs, i've also unlocked your account :)
