I've had the same issue, in fact I came here this morning to see if there was anything else on the forums about it.

Any suggestions?

hi guys.,

we've dealt with these false positives in the past. again, there is NO virus in Bit Che, or any of its modules. Yes, Bit Che uses a file compressor for several of its application modules, and these are why Bit Che sometimes gets incorrectly flagged.

Its a simple process, the AntiVirus company just needs to be sent the file in question so that they can remove their warning on the file.

Here are the other threads for the other products:

Norton: http://convivea.com/forums/index.php?topic=1369.0
Avast: http://convivea.com/forums/index.php?topic=1467.msg14118#msg14118

Bottom line:

What to do?

1. Report to Kaspersky that the file in question is a "false positive". You should have some sort of 'submit sample' button or feature.
2. Turn Kaspersky protection off.
3. Install Bit Che.
4. Go to Kaspersky and find the option to add an exception to the real-time protection, and add Bit Che to this.
5. Then you can turn on your real-time protection again and use Bit Che.

I have sent notice to Kaspersky and I will let you all know when they have fixed their problem.

To anyone else that reads this, if you have a similar problem in the future, go ahead and send the file in question straight to your AntiVirus product. The sooner they receive notice that their AntiVirus product is producing a false-positive, then the sooner the problem will be resolved.

Thanks!
