When I found this program last night I thought it had answered a prayer Smiley

It works great as a searcher for 'some' free sites, but for the 3 login sites I tried, not so good.

The free sites it just wont return any results for (no matter how simple) are :-

bt-etree.org
btmon.com
eztv.it
mp3nova.org
mybittorrent.com
slotorrent.net
tntvillage.org(pub)
todotorrents.com
torrentreactor.net
torrentstorage.com
zerotracker.com

The login sites on the installed list that are missing, unresolvable or just plain gone

araditracker
badbits.org
bestvid.org
bitchile.com
bitnation.com
blackcats-games.net
boxtorrents.com
community-shares.info
creepytor.org
filelist.org
hdfrench.com
leecherslair
legendary torrents.net
luciferdreams.org
merc-tech.org
mp3nerds
myspleen.net
nemesyz.com
passionblue.org
powerscene.org
randombytes.org
reloadparadise
sceneleech.org
snowtigers.net
softmp3.org
statusx.net
teamghost.fr
textbooktorrents.com
torrentdemons.com
torrentphase.com
torrentqc.com
tunebully.com
vipv2.com
waffles.com
zamunda.net

Of the member sites I tried, thebox and uknova got no results for any searches (even tho I could see torrents that matched my search in a browser), and torrentbytes would give back (eg) 150+ results for a search while bit-che returned about 10.

Tried it on vista 64, win7 64 and a vm running xp 86, all with the same results.

I really want to use bit-chi - it looks like it could be a fantastic time saver. Any hints?

Edit
Latest version of Bit-Che, scripts updated etc etc

I'm working my way through a lot of these.
You can find the updates at the first post of this thread: http://convivea.com/forums/index.php?topic=1577.0
I expect chip! will be adding them into an update though.

thank you!

i have updated the script pack (you should get prompted to download the updated scripts next time you start Bit Che, update them, then restart Bit Che)..

i've got most if not all of those dead/missing sites disabled now..

all public sites should now be working 100%, and all private sites are going to need to be looked at on an individual basis.. depending on if any of us still have accounts with those sites.

i can take a look at uknova, but i dont have accounts to the others..

and with torrentbytes, bit che only retrieves the first page of the search results.. so yes, you might see 15 pages of "10" results.. in your browser, but for the sake of time/speed, and not flooding the search box with thousands of results, bit che only returns the number of results given on any site's first page.   that might change in the future, as i was experimenting with a multi-page grabbing version, but unfortunately, dont except that any time soon.
