On another note I watched 'The Wild' (Disney) on Sunday... I was amazed... not so much by the story line but how good Comp animated films have become... Don't be fooled by the first few minutes of the movie, it gets so much better after about 15 min

Last night I watched this movie:  Me and You and Everyone We Know

It was an excellent movie. Strange, but very funny and interesting. Somewhat in the vein of a Garden State 'type' movie, but a little less commercialized and a little more indie style. if you're into Canes/Sundance films, check it out!

Movies I've seen throughout this year that I'd recommend:

1) Crank
2) V for Vendetta
3) Revolver

Watch Crank if you dont wanna "think" too hard about a film or its plot. Its just a fun, action packed movie to watch w/ a GREAT ending, I think. It's just a cool movie with guns, explosions, drugs, ...you get the idea.

V for Vendetta had a great plot and a GREAT lead character in "V". I love Hugo Weaving from The Matrix films & his job as "V"(although the only hint to Hugo was V's voice) was outstanding. Great ending as well.

Revolver is, of the top 3 I listed, my favorite probably. Deep movie that'll make you think. If you saw it already and didnt think it was deep, it must not have sunk in. Watch it again. Awesome characters in this one.

Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels
Snatch.

I love them!

Yeah, you have to see Revolver, chip. Be sure to post what ya think about it after.

And the other Guy Ritchie movies were great. Snatch my fav of the previous 2. Jason Statham iis a lead character in all of the above movies, including Crank.

Most Jason Statham flicks that I've seen have been good. He plays the badass pretty well. If you like him as a lead character like I do, be on the look out for a movie he's doing in '07 called "Rogue" alongside Jet Li.

Yeah I've been meening to catch that too and hear "the business" is another good similar style film. Watched "Shooting dogs" yesterday...... a great film but probably the most shockingly depressing movie I've ever watched. Not one for when you're on the pain killers/anti-depressents..
be prepared to feel awful afterwards

thought you might like this.
A UK cinema chain had to call emergency services three times in one night because of people fainting during a new horror film. Four people passed out while watching Saw III at Cineworld complexes in Stevenage and Peterborough.

I was suprised to hear from several ppl that Saw III was the BETTER of the three Saw films. I was rather dissapointed w/ Saw II, but the original Saw was great. Can't wait to see this new one.

My siblings have been dragging me along to see some kiddie movies lately.. they weren't too bad actually.

Monster House
The Ant Bully

and I'm actually looking forward to Flushed Away, but haven't seen that one yet.

Saw "Kiss kiss, bang bang"  thought it was one of the best movies I had seen in a LONG time, very funny even thought the ending is beyond farfetched. Would reccomend it to anyone who likes movies like pulp fiction, lock stock and snatch (gangster flicks with comedy mixed in). The americans have done it brilliantly here.

On another note saw Borat too last week hilarious (but not for everyone, it is satire and toilet humor at its best.. quite literally in one scene) and unsuprised by all the law suits that have been filed as a direct result of this film.

I'm going to go see Casino Royale in about an hour.

Wow, wonderful film. Daniel Craig made a great James Bond. It was more about a simple(r) but intense plot and less about weird gadgets.
