  Now that all the twirling and poking have left cissie breathless,lol its time for another very easy one.
I am in a town in a very small country. I`m rather odd in a way (by adding ain`t(slang) to the first half of my town.) a further "r" if added to the end( but not showing), will give you cause to remove yourself from harm.
Not USA/OZ/Asia.

  Made a little edit to original clues, The town does not end in "r" as this is only a clue.
To help you a little I can say that a very famous radio station of the 1960`s was based in the country. Not my usual kind of where am I, as even I had to try and remember  which town . Been on emmergency duty since 8am and just finished at 10pm. If this one doesnt make too much sense I will scrub it shortly.lol

  I suppose this one would have been more of a nostalga trip for the older generation in UK and Europe.
Radio Luxemburg 208MW was probably the most popular stations.It played the top chart pop songs very late at night. We all used to hide our little portable radio sets,pretend to be asleep,and then listen to the pops.lol
