[Movie] - Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest
« on: July 07, 2006, 10:53:44 am »
Hey, went to see this at a special screening on thursday. I thought it was OK, but personally I dislike movies with no ending (having a huge argument with my mates afterwards about how you can think Empire Strikes Back and LOTR Two Towers are the best ones of their series... etc lol).

What did you think about it?

I went and saw it last night and thoroughly enjoyed it.. I had read some reviews that didnt like it much so I was definately surprised at how fun it was to watch it.. I laughed a bunch of times. I thought the special effects were awesome and even though some of the scenes were unrealistic, I thought it worked very well and was a great 2nd part for the trilogy. The story line was a bit difficult to follow sometimes but considering the movie as a whole, I thought it turned out good.. I would definately watch it again.

lol those who need closure, haha.

Well I'm certainly one who needs at least an END! I love movies that have an open ending... but not because there's a sequel, it's just not creative imo.

But yeah it was still a pretty fun movie!

$132 million! WOW! Blew ol Spidey out the water to clain the highest opening weekend gross

I saw the movie lastnight and I like it. I like those costumes and most of all the mistery. As usual Mr.Depp plays realy well in the movie.
Btw, I just knew that it'll be a Trilogy :p
