LOGIN problems

Hi! I'm trying to write a script for the russian bittorrent site - torrents.ru
And I'm stuck on the step 1 - login to the site.

I cannot login neither using form=login_username=%USER%&login_password=%PASS%&autologin=1
nor using special.exe method - they all don't work, I do not login.

Some login information is stored in the settings.ini ensure you remove it for torrents.ru when you try to change the login method.

Don't ask I haven't a clue.

I can take a look at it, there's no reason the special login tool wouldnt be able to handle it...

in order for me to figure out the best solution, i'm going to need an account, so if you want, PM your login/password (i only use other people's logins to develop and test the scripts, nothing more, so you can set a temporary password if you want..) otherwise.. I guess I can try to use an online translator for Russian and see if I can figure that site out manually, haha

This is a phpBB torrent site its basically a forum with a torrent mod added

these just don't do well in Bit Che

It's also struggling with bandwidth issues if you post a script for it there you may get banned.

And I don't think they ban users for such things - anyway I'll ask them.

little update.. I was able to get Bit Che working with Torrents.ru.. but I had to re-write the special.exe tool..

I'll post it later tonight once I've polished it up a little bit, but we'll have atleast basic support for the site

Your tool is a very great helper! I use only Bit Che for searching the stuff on Internet!
And I can translate it to russian BTW.

The only thing it misses for me now is that torrents.ru support (it's the biggest russian
torrent site, maybe the biggest one in the whole internet).

I want to write a script for it and post it to this forum.

okay, i finished the new version of the special.exe login tool and its working.. I posted it here:

oh.. side note, i noticed the results are coming back in Russian.. I dont know if that is going to work for you right now or not, but once I finish build 60, the full program will have unicode support so you'll be able to see russian character'd results.. right now, it might not be too useable

Looking forward to the unicode version!...

Maybe there's a way to cheat with fonts right now?
