i think, unintentionally,  a bunch of the clues were just misleading us in directions that didnt necessarily need to confuse us, like jumping ship, ie, I was always looking for somewhere close to the ocean that possibly had a connecting ferry route, i had previously searched for a place called 'steam springs' but oddly nothing came up, also there were a bunch of cities in oregon called 'twomile' 'fourmile' or that had mile in its name, so that was also throwing me off...  even with the clue regarding using a steam iron, my head was still wrapped around the actual 'chore'.. and looked for places that might have to do with 'wrinkle' or 'press' etc..  

anyhow, ayeyeyeye.......  :-[  ;)  ;D

Steam=ironing, a hot chore with the steam around.
boatSprings= jump ship several times
Mile high=Denver city or stadium. Gives you Colorado
Famous for its nearby "Nordic Slopes" as a reference to cissies norwegian partner. Great skiing. ::)

Confused the living crap out of me.. hehe... oh well.. i am not that familiar with US.. only the main attractions.... so hints like mile high etc, had me thinking along other lines in aeorplanes...  ::)
