hi.. just copy your C:\program files\Bit Che\ folder to your USB Thumbdrive (or whatever) and you should be good to go.

if you have any problems, or need me to customize Bit Che even further to allow for a better "portable" version, please let me know.

Thanks!

I noticed that there are folders in application data folder for Bit Che so just copying the program would not make it portable, also i was wondering if it was possible to maek a portable Bit Che that would follow the guidlines that are followed by the portable apps located on this site http://portableapps.com/ i would really like to see a bit che that was portable, also it might be possible to even have PortableApps host the portable version.

Also is there any way to use a Proxy with Bit Che and if so how, because i have tried and had no luck.

There is a folder in the application data folder for vista compatibility

There is however a switch you can use in the settings.ini under [Options] portable=1 that allows you to copy those files into the programs folder :)

I Have been playing with a U3 version but it needs a bit of work before I can get it certified.

I Tested it with the Settings.in and it worked while something more like the programs at Portable Apps.com would be better.

Bit Che should follow the guidelines from PortableApps (if not, let me know)..  but maybe you might be able to help package it according to their desired formats?

Well that's one way chip

Due to restrictions on portableapps.com its not posable to do a version for there system or post it over there.
you can grab this and extract it to the PortableApps folder on your USB drive use "Extract here" in win rar as the BitChePortable folder is included in the rar.

http://www.uploadjockey.com/download/7076159/bitcheportable.rar

Or Here is a custom Installer that will copy over your currently installed version in to your portableapps.com interface just select Options>Install New App and select the bitche.paf.exe this will copy and modify your settings.ini so you will have all your passwords and settings installed aswell.

If your A U3 User try one of these

Hello Bovski, can you please upload the portable BitChe files somewhere else like rapidshare, it seems that the uploadjockey links havenĀ“t been working for a while... :(
