Easy OMG... brain goes blank with those clues.. just wonder why they are usually alcohol or hotel related.. hehe... OK.. is it still a sea port.. or just a place.. northern or southern hemisphere would be a lovely hint please..??? hehe ;)

Okay.. here goes my guess... probably too in depth and wrong..

Hotel = Ho
Titanic = Ship = Shi or Chi
Hola = Sola = Ming in Chinese translation.. So I come up with  "Ho Chi Ming"

That sounds like too much work. It has to be something simpler. Pub -> Bar, maybe? He used the word "negative" rather than "sad", so that must mean something. I'll get it later.

Other ideas:
  • "That one went down rather quickly"? Oddly worded and Tex has added hints to the beginning of puzzles before.
  • "Hola!" means "hello" in Spanish and Catalan. I doubt it refers to Hola, Kenya.
  • Its obviously not too easy, so "mood" might mean something.
  • "titanic" refers to either the boat, the movie, size, or the Titans of Greek mythology
My first guess was Bermuda ("bar->"ber"), but they don't actually speak Spanish and I don't see any other connections.

Since you are trying too hard, I give you another clue. A songstress with the negative ending(slightly slang). Read the original clues .

celona= celine dion (songstress who sings the sad theme from titanic), where as the ending of her name is changed a bit to fit "celona".. thus slang
hola being spanish ;)

As an after thought would like to see Quantum bring back his Maths post/puzzles. I`m sure there are lots of you out there studying advanced maths that would  really enjoy debates on this subject. I can change my title to "Trivia Geography Co-ordinator". How about it Quantum??
