I'm good thanks, a friend of mine said he recently got an update for Bit Che which I was very surprised about so I thought I'd come check it out, it's looking a bit more polished, I like it.

Well I can't really defend the government against a whole bunch of unsubstantiated comments. So I'm just going to pull out one that's completely false and assume I can't trust the rest:

Record unemployment

Only if you mean we've had record lows of unemployment. Under the Tory government it hit 3 million, that's never happened under New Labour which is pretty fantastic given 3 million is a lower % of the population now.

I'm not saying this Government is perfect, or at times any good, but I think overall they've been a positive force and I don't trust that the Tory's will be the same.

And the simple fact of the matter is there is far too much bureaucracy in the current system, the whole idea of European expansion was that the current system wasn't good enough so we'll change it when we start adding members and unfortunately that fell apart. Now we'll get a proper system! And you honestly think the rest of Europe will stop just because of Poland and the Czech Republic?

Any particular reason? IE is a lot slower than the other browsers (even IE8), so it helps web developers if we move to modern browsers like Firefox, Safari, Chrome or Opera. I suggest you have a play around with them, there's usually one people like much much more than IE.

well....IE has address bar autocomplete (IE8) and Firefox doesn't....

This rig is out of sight. Totally awesome. 2.66GZs stock. Slight OC TO 3.61GZs on stocki heatsink/cooler. Been doing some benchmarks on Everest 5.1 and usually top marks over i7965 extreme. At this OC temp still at 50deg but I think will wait fror better after market heatsink/cooler.

Firefox, no contest.
Internet Explorer loads quicker though, and you can edit HTML files in one click (that is by clicking View>Source), so I use it for offline reading and simple web page editing.

That's 2 clicks 

And if you want tom edit HTML files, Firefox has one of the most powerful tools in existence for that as an add-on: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1843

The 4890 just came out, I've seen them from about £190 - £210. The performance per pound is supposed to be pretty awesome.

Pricey stuff, I can't comment on the general quality of the X58 boards, but there's so few of them and they're so expensive it won't be hard to find comprehensive reviews.

I'm looking at building a computer at the moment, but for a much small price range I can buy an AMD Quad core and chances are I can stable overclock it to 4.5 GHz+. But good luck

Didn't have much luck with 3.0.x or 3.5.x Both been crashing all the time.

Been using Minefield 3.6a1Pre with out any problems.

Odd, you tried clean profile / safe mode / disabling all your add-ons?

Sorry, I've not done a bit update, but 3.5 beta 4 wasn't a big feature release I struggled compiling an "interesting" list, there's just a lot of polish and stability fixes. I'll try and get something done before RC1 comes out.

Also, if anyone's interested, they're looking at updating the Firefox icon slightly for this version: http://blog.mozilla.com/faaborg/

Some interesting benchmarks on Windows 7 RC1 compared to Vista and XP...  guess which OS is winning?

Notice they compare 7 x64, Vista x64 and XP x64. The thing here is that XP x64 is based off Windows Server 2003 and has a different performance portfolio to the original XP.
