haha... no, i was rather confused actually at billy's answer.. cissie you rather spelt it out rather nicely, i had a hunch 'val' was the girls name/romantic date of the year just did a quick wikipedia search to verify that it was an archipelago..  i remember seeing the name in books and such when i was planning my travels around Norway.. anyway, nice little puzzle there.. im ready for the next..
